Quality of care
The quality of our working methods is regularly assessed. On this page you can read more about our quality and quality marks.
Quality of care
Treatment satisfaction
The opinions and wishes of our clients are very important to us. With various questionnaires we try to find out what their experience with Arkin is.
At the end of the treatment, all clients are sent an important questionnaire. We call this the Consumer Quality Index (CQi). This is a questionnaire with which we can measure the experience of clients. This is how we find out how we can make our care even better.
CQI
Arkin scored an average grade of 8.0 on the CQi in 2023.
Zorgkaart Nederland
On Zorgkaart Nederland you can let us know how you experienced the treatment at Arkin. This platform is independent and your review is anonymous.
Mirror conversations
We also hold mirror discussions to find out how clients experience our care. These are conversations in which the treatment team listens in when clients and loved ones share their experiences about the treatment. A mirror conversation is supervised by an independent discussion leader. We try to improve our care with the results of these conversations.
HKZ quality mark
TOPGGz
Within Arkin, 5 specialisms have the TOPGGz quality mark:
The independent Foundation for Top Clinical Mental Health Care awards this quality mark to departments with a highly specialized and high-quality range for clients with serious, complex and/or rare disorders. Our 5 specialisms are thus recognized for providing highly specialized and innovative client care, combined with scientific research and knowledge dissemination.
Great Place To Work
Arkin's Great Place To Work Trust Index is 75%. Arkin excels in a number of areas:
- Being able to be yourself, regardless of personal characteristics or preferences.
- Doing meaningful work and making a useful contribution to society.
- Feeling and receiving responsibility.
NEN 7510
Arkin has obtained the coveted NEN 7510 certificate for information security in healthcare. This means that the organization meets the standards and requirements for ensuring the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of all information for the purpose of responsible care for clients. The certificate was issued by DNV. That is an independent body.
Obtaining the NEN7510 certificate is an important milestone for Arkin. This shows that we care about the privacy of our clients. We have set up and implemented an information security management system that meets the requirements of the NEN7510 standard.
Leader in the field of digital care
The Virtual Arkin House has been officially named 'Frontrunner' by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport.
Quality statute
A quality statute contributes to ensuring that the right help, in the right place, is provided by the right healthcare professionals. Arkin's quality statute has been drawn up on the basis of national guidelines from the National Health Care Institute. You can view Arkin's quality statute here.
Measure results regularly
We would like to know what your goals are and whether our treatment helps. We investigate this at various points in the treatment process. We do this with questionnaires: the ROM (Routine Outcome Measurement). Together with your practitioner, the course of the treatment is regularly evaluated and the results of these questionnaires are also used. With the results of these questionnaires, we know whether your goals have been achieved and whether the treatment is effective.
Horizontal supervision
As of January 1, 2023, we have switched to Horizontal Supervision. This is a new way of accounting: instead of retrospective control, Horizontal Supervision provides a process in which we can identify, discuss and resolve bottlenecks earlier. In this way, Arkin gives the health insurer and the client more certainty and confidence in the healthcare costs incurred. It means that the correctness and completeness of the registration of our care is in order as much as possible.
