Publication on success of family-oriented cooperation

On 22 August, Frontiers in Psychiatry published an article about the many years of cooperation between adult care and youth care within the case consultation Together for Complex Family Issues. The research shows, among other things, that this family-oriented collaboration helps youth care professionals to deal with the various problems of a family. They can provide more effective care themselves. They also saw an increase in the safety of the child. Read the article here.

Findings

Further findings were:

  • If help from adult care is needed, clear referral routes are needed for youth care and the elderly.
  • Involving the social domain in the case consultation is advisable because of the unfavourable living conditions.
  • Working together with experiential professionals is of added value.
