Growing up safely
Every parent wants to do well for the children. Unfortunately, there can always be a period when you feel less comfortable in your own skin. At Arkin, we always ask how your children are doing and discuss together whether (temporary) support is needed.
Help with parenting and growing up
The education of children in such times is something that parents may worry about or have questions about. Our experience is that parents are often relieved when they discuss parenthood with a counselor. Every parent wants to do well for the children. Unfortunately, there can always be a period when you feel less comfortable in your own skin. At Arkin, we always ask how your children are doing and discuss together whether (temporary) support is needed.
If you want to know more, visit the website of Arkin Youth Prevention. There you will find free information and help that is separate from your treatment and medical file.
Safe home situation
We always look at the safety of the children of our clients and value a safe home situation for you and your child. When we are concerned about the safety of a child, client or loved one, we discuss this and look for a solution together. Working on safety at home can be part of the treatment plan.
Arkin is legally bound by the Domestic Violence and Child Abuse Reporting Code. This reporting code states how care providers should deal with suspicions of domestic violence or child abuse. Worrying signs are discussed with those involved and, if necessary, Safe Home can be involved. This institution investigates the situation and can deploy help if necessary.
