Who?
The course 'rather move than tired' is intended for adults who feel tired, stressed or gloomy or suffer from a lot of physical complaints. Even if you don't speak Dutch, you can participate.
Course content
If you often feel down, it can be difficult to get moving. The course is a combination of exercise and information.
Exercise is good for stress, depression and physical complaints. In this course you will exercise with a group. You will also receive tips about your mental health. The course is aimed at preventing depressive symptoms through exercise and strengthening a healthy lifestyle.
The course consists of 6 meetings in which the following themes are discussed:
- Worrying, pain and sleeping problems
- Positive thinking
- Relaxed
- Healthy food
Performing is not important - coming and participating is.
Practical information
Course Duration: The course lasts 6 weeks. Every week there is a meeting of 2 hours.
When: New groups start several times a year.
Group: 8-10 participants.
