Who?
For adults and elderly people with mild stress, depression or anxiety complaints, who want to learn to deal with their complaints differently and with a general practitioner in Amsterdam Southeast or Diemen or with a general practitioner from a SAG health center.
Course content
Mindfulness is a training in attention and mindfulness, using meditation exercises. By doing these exercises regularly, you can become more aware of your thoughts, feelings, and habitual patterns. Emotional problems often arise and persist because we don't want to feel unpleasant feelings. In the attention training you learn to allow feelings better, so that eventually space and peace can arise within yourself again.
Practical information
Course duration: The course lasts 8 weeks. Every week there is a meeting of 2 hours.
When: New groups start several times a year.
Group: 8-9 participants
Costs: 50 euros
An introductory meeting takes place prior to the course.
