The discussion group focuses on adults who grew up with a mentally ill or addicted parent.

If you grew up with a parent with mental health problems, you may have a hard time with that later in life. In the past, you couldn't be a child because you had to take care of your parent. And now this is still affecting your current life; You feel responsible, you worry easily, you can feel overburdened.

For many adult children of a mentally ill parent, it is nice to notice that they are not the only ones.

The discussion group consists of 8 meetings. The first meetings are mainly spent on exchanging experiences. This will be followed by the following themes:

• responsibility
• relationships
• Guilt
• Setting boundaries
• identity

Participants can also contribute themes themselves.
