Who?
The discussion group is intended for adult relatives who have lost someone by suicide.
Course content
What is the discussion group about?
The conversations focus on experiences, feelings and questions of you and the other participants. Depending on the needs, attention can be paid to themes such as:
1. Surviving and coping with the loss
2. How do I talk about my loss with others?
3. Cultural, social and religious taboos on suicide
4. Guilt, shame and avoidance
5. How can I live on with this loss?
Relatives who have lost a loved one to suicide can benefit from sharing their experiences and feelings with people who have been through the same thing. You can
recognition, acknowledgment and perhaps some comfort in each other.
Practical information
We offer 2 discussion groups for relatives.
When: The discussion groups take place on Tuesday mornings from 10:30-12:00 or Tuesday afternoons from 14:30 – 16:00.
